At night, I had a little ritual with one of my kids. I'd ask ChatGPT to make up a short story, just for him, with a picture at the very end. I read the story without showing anything, so his imagination could build the whole world in his head. Then, right before the goodnight kiss, I showed him the picture. That small moment of discovery was magic, every single time.
A while later, I ordered a personalized book: a story starring my daughter and her mom, both drawn to look like them. When her mom opened the book and saw herself in the pictures, right beside our daughter, I saw her eyes light up. That's when I was sold on the idea of personalized stories arriving at our home.
Those two experiences gave me the idea for Contes de Lune: an adventure where your child is the hero, illustrated to look like them, delivered to your mailbox.
The test that settled it
I ran a first test with my daughter. When she found her postcard in the mail, with her name on it, and recognized herself in the picture… her whole face lit up. Right then, I knew this project was worth it. I found the drive to push it much further, and that's what you're looking at today.
